Well Christmas this year was at the Hebdons. We had a BLAST! Skyler, Lisa, Michael, and Tawnee were all visiting this year so the house was pretty dang full. We had so much fun playing games and talking with everyone that we stayed up past midnight almost every single night. Two of the nights we stayed up so late that Thomas and I didn't even want to think about moving the kids home, so we ended up making a bed on the floor. Turns out the floor is pretty comfortable when your running on two hours of sleep haha. Akleigh and Auger both did really well with all the inconsistency. They both slept well and have been mostly cheerful. Auger got WAY too many toys lol, he loved every second of opening gifts. . . and Akleigh slept through most of it of course. There was no snow, but we did have a load of really amazing food, thanks Elaine :) Anyways, now everything is settling down and i finally remembered to take some pics of something, so here are the pictures from the last four months. . . in no particular order

Thomas got all his harvesting done before Christmas this year so that was nice. Because of that, they were able to do some custom work for some neighbors. His semi broke down for a bit but he almost has it fixed now. Like i said before, we bought a new car and we love it.

Auger is talking in sentances now, knows all his colors, can count to ten, and loves anything that has to do with dad, grandpa, rick, or baby akleigh. still notpotty trained but he does sleep in a twin bed now. he is off the charts in weight and height so it looks like we got a linebacker!

Akleigh is on the other end of the scale weighing only 12 lbs right now she is in the 30%. but she is doing well, smiling a ton, sleeping pretty good and really loves her daddy and auger.

We are happy to announce the arrival of Akleigh Elyn Hebdon! Born August 29, 2011 at 4:16 PM. 6 lbs 15 oz, 19 in long. Thomas and I arrived at the hospital at 3, they hooked me up to all the monitors and said i wouldn't last much longer so they were gettin the doc there as soon as possible, then everything went off without a hitch and we had a beautiful baby girl just over an hour later.

The best news though is that Auger is in love with her :) He has been nothing but wonderful to her. He already worries about her and wants to play with her all the time. I must admit i underestimated him, i was very worried that he would be a disaster when i got home but i have been pleasantly surprised ever since!

So here are a few pictures of the past few wonderful weeks.

ok, so i don't even have a real excuse for why its been almost six months since i posted anything. I have a few pathetic ones though that i can share haha . . . basketball season is what really got me off track, then our neighbor decided to make his internet private so we couldnt steal it anymore :(, and since then my only real excuse is that i am pregnant, tired, crabby, lazy, and everything else that goes along with that. So if those excuses satisfy you, great :)
Last week was my last week of zumba so this week has been pretty relaxing actually. Thomas has been working a ton, but with both Chase and Michael back he hasn't been completely overwhelmed . . . i hope. The weather has been consistently getting better so Auger and i work/play out in the yard whenever its not raining or horribly windy. We are getting to know the mail lady really well since Auger is always waiting there to get the mail when she shows up. The garden is coming along pretty well. I need a good full day of weeding before it will look really nice but at least i have some beautiful plants popping out of the ground. (peas, turnips, spinach, carrots, and every kind of leafy green you can think of) also my raspberried, strawberries, and blackberries are starting to smile. Auger was actually really helpful planting the peas because the seeds were so big he could grab them and put one in each hole that i made. however, the seeds for everything else are a different story and he gets really frustrated when i wont let him dig up where i just planted, hopefully my garden survives the wrath of a one year old this year!
I have my 20 week ultra sound scheduled for monday, hopefully they can tell us whether we are having a boy or a girl. The last doctors appointment went well, everything looked good with the baby, and i am finally getting some energy back.
So the best i can do for missing the last six months is post a few of my favorite pics. Auger is infinately more photogenic then thomas and i so thats about all you get haha. Auger update: turns 2 in september, really growing tall and thinning out so he looks more like a little kid then a baby, LOVES his daddy and his grandpa. . . and everyone else that lives at "gamma's house", too attached to his mommy to go to nursery, obsessed with choo-choo trains since Mandy so graciously sent home some Thomas the train movies, wants to be outside all day long, still drags his blankie around everywhere, still only has six teeth (wont let us stick our fingers in his mouth to find out though), Incredibly fun to be around 90% of the time, throwing a giant screaming tantrum the other 10%, loves peas and fruit snacks, and still the best sleeping kid in the world.

well we sure know the meaning of COLD these days in Royal City! It was -3 this morning when thomas left for work. we have huge snowdrifts in our driveway and back yard almost four feet tall. I have never seen a little kid want to go outside as bad as Auger has wanted to the last two days. Poor kid has been stuck inside only being able to look out the windows at the beautiful white stuff falling from the sky. Hopefully it warms up soon so he can get his wish!
He is really into toothbrushes these days and thought he was pretty smart for finding a giant one haha

He had a playdate last week and spent the whole time following Julia around and pulling her socks off. She was a little nervous about him but they still had a fun time.

I took Auger to the playplace at mcdonalds last week. I know he doesn't look like it in this picture but he was having the time of his life. All the big kids were playing with him too so he just chased them around.

well it has been a really long time since i posted, but i have been slacking in the picture taking department. This month was filled with some big changes. . . erin and andon moved out much to the dismay of auger and andon, and i got a job! haha well sort of. Erin and I started our own Zumba studio called The Wearhouse. You can hardly call it a job because it is so freaking much fun! right now i just do it on tuesday nights, but erin is starting her own studio in ellensburg on monday. we are trying to team teach as much as possible because it is way more fun. we have an awesome group of ladies that come to our class and an awesome location that is close to my house. I am also organizing a race to put on June 18th 2011. I have been meeting with so many people trying to get all the proper forms filled out. im just waiting on one more before i can start the actual race preparations. wish me luck!

i pulled out augers old bouncer, he thought it was HILARIOUS!!! but his bum was resting on the ground because he was WAY too big for it.

k there is a story behind this outfit :) the poor kid got way sick last week. he threw up all over himself and his daddy and his daddy's truck, then he had terrible diapers for about three days. i was seriously changing the poor little guy every half an hour. so since it was pretty cold and he kept needing diaper changes i put these awesome leg warmers on him so i didnt have to take off his shoes or his "pants" all day long :) i thought it was pretty ingenious lol. dont worry we didnt go out in public like this, but i guess i am putting his picture up on the blog so that kinda cancels in out.

andon and auger loved pumpkin carving. auger actually ate quite a bit of raw pumpkin and seeds and andon didnt want to do any of the actual scooping or carving, but they still both had lots of fun watching me and erin do all the dirty work.

Well time certainly flies doesn't it. My little guy is 1 year old! He is walking all over the place, starting to say a few words kinda lol, and getting an attitude too! he wont eat anything unless he can feed himself, that makes for some fun messes. he also refuses to come inside most of the day. he is quite the little adventurer. a few days ago he decided he was big enough to walk down the stairs instead of scooting on his tummy . . . this was the result, along with some serious crocodile tears.

well thomas has been up to his eyeballs in farming work. he has been chopping corn every day and cutting beans every night.

erin has been staying with us for a few weeks now and she has been keeping me busy. we are starting our own fitness center of sorts. right now we are teaching zumba together and she is teaching strength training and we might start yoga soon. i am also organizing a 5k and 10k race next summer.

my parents are coming up in a week and we cant wait. its been awhile since they saw auger, hope he remembers them!

this past month has been pretty awesome. combine a family reunion, wedding, and football in the rain and you get a pretty fun time. we had the most amazing rain storm a few weeks ago! we were actually on our way out the door to go swimming and within minutes a HUGE storm moved in. we had tons of thunder and lightning all night and since we didn't get to go swimming, we decided to get wet anyways.

thomas brought in a few loads of gravel just before the wedding so we could make the swingset area look nice. only one problem, we couldnt get the truck inside the cement square without breaking anything. so we had to dump it outside of the area and use buckets and a small tractor and the four wheeler to move it all in.

wow this past month has been crazy! thomas and i had my whole family up for the week of the fourth of july. we had nine people staying in our little teeny three bedroom house. needless to say, we all got very close and personal for awhile. we were sad to see them leave, then shortly after, greg and adena had to go back to california. man we are sure gonna miss them too. speaking of leaving . . drew and ariel are packing up as we speak! they leave today at eleven. jolyn is also gone to cali, along with terry and elaine still in seattle so we are getting pretty lonely up here in royal city lol.
auger is still just growing. his 18 month clothes are starting to get snug haha. he took his first steps last week. we have seen him take up to six steps so far but he is not real interested in walking cuz he can crawl too dang fast! we have to coax and bribe him pretty good. this morning his top tooth finally finally broke through. i thought it would never come! he also says dada quite well now and occasionally says mama but who really knows if he means it or not right? lol
thomas and i are staying at terry and elaine's for awhile. we get word on friday hopefully when they will be coming home. living in a big air conditioned house with tv, internet, and five extra people is a bit of a change for us ha ha. but we have loved it. hope the kids dont get too sick of us. chase and connor brought home some fresh crab the other day. we cooked it up for drew mostly lol. i had never had it but it was pretty dang good. auger didn't agree with me on that though.
i have to do a garden update lol. my squash is on finally! my lettuce went to seed cuz i never eat salad unfortunately. my basil is going crazy. my tomatoes are huge! but none of them are quite ready yet. everything else seems happy enough but that is all that is producing so far.
auger is definitely turning into a little farmer. tractors are his favorite thing besides his daddy haha. he rides with thomas all the time and pushes his little toy tractors everywhere

we went to seattle last weekend with drew and ariel. we went to the red sox vs mariners game and thomas almost caught a foul ball! it seriously landed like three feet from me. i was like "thomas why didn't you shove me out of the way and catch the ball?!?!" he said he didn't actually think it was that close to us, it was too good to be true lol. then the kid in front of us that ended up with it sat and looked at it the whole time so thomas was dying lol. oh well maybe next year. we went to pike place market with drew and ariel the next day and discovered the gum wall. it was amazing ha ha.

we had to cut augers hair too. it was just too long on the sides and in the back. i had to constantly tuck it behind his ears so i decided no more!but we just ended up cutting the sides not the top.

once again these pictures got loaded in reverse order, so look at them from bottom to top if you want them in chronological order. augers update: he is growing like a weed! he is 9.5 months old now and wearing 18 month clothes. he is a crazy fast crawler and he cruizes around everthing he can hold onto. he is getting tan and his hair is bleaching out. we feed him just about everthing now, and just recently he decided that he no longer wants two naps.
thomas is just working away. everything seems to be going pretty well on the farm. thomas is also getting tan ha ha but his hair does not bleach out at all lol. i, on the other hand, am getting my nice red glow for the summer. i have been working in the garden lots and spending as much time as i can with drew and ariel while they are here.

last night drew, ariel, rick, and jolyn all came over for dinner and to help us rip out our giant stump in the middle of the driveway. rick brought his chain saw and thomas brought the tractor. after lots of digging and cutting and pulling, they finally ripped it out.

This last weekend we had an awesome time in utah. We drove down thursday night and spent friday, saturday, sunday, and part of monday with my extended family. my uncle jason let us stay at his house. we went to lagoon, jump on it, and the park in lindon. thanks to vikki and her family for planning an awesome reunion!

auger has been starting to figure things out now that he can get wherever he wants. it's getting tiring trying to follow him around and keep him from tearing things apart.

he knows how to turn on the water in the bath tub . . .

the mosquitoes attacked him when we went outside. i felt so bad the next day when his eye was all swollen

he climbed into his toy basket once. that was all it took, now he doesn't do it anymore

he also figured out how to turn the light on and off in the dryer. .

he was pretty proud of it :)

auger is the happiest kid alive but man he is getting to be a handful. he climbs on everything, eats everything, and is a very very fast crawler now.

The weather has started to warm up finally and life has been crazy! Two weeks ago we all got to visit Terry and Elaine in Seattle. It was so nice to see them. They took us everywhere that they have to go and we really got a feel for how life is for them lately. Their apartment was really nice, but honestly it takes a lot of room to house the whole Hebdon family so Adena, Greg, Brayden, Tawny, Thomas, Auger, and I stayed in a hotel room. Auger got stuck in the closet as usual. We thought it would be a disaster trying to get all three kids to go to sleep at the same time but it worked out pretty nicely (except that auger talked to himself for like an hour in the closet before falling asleep). We took Auger swimming in a pool for his first time. He loved it so much he wouldn't get out. Everytime grandma Hebdon would take him out and dry him off he would walk her back over to the side and try to get back in. He succeeded a few times haha.
Since we have been back to Royal life has been moving a million miles an hour. Farming has picked up and the summer activities are starting. My garden is basically planted. Auger is crawling normal finally. He is also pulling up on everything and walks everwhere as long as he can hold onto something. He broke two teeth through last week and has been pretty miserable so i think he is still working on a few. Now he has two on the bottom and one on the top.
This weekend we are headed to Utah for an Allred family reunion. We are so excited to see everyone. Cross your fingers that Auger is happy and friendly for everyone!

I splurged and bought Auger some killer John Deere boots two weeks ago. They are the cutest things i have ever seen. I bought them a size too big so hopefully he can still wear them when he starts walking.

ok so auger is just over seven months old. his last doctor's appointment was at six months and he weighed just over 20 pounds. im convinced he is nearing 25 ha ha. he is so heavy i can barely stand to hold him for more then about ten minutes. on top of that, he is incredibly squirmy so therefore he is impossible to hold onto. thankfully he can get around pretty well by himself so he keeps himself pretty busy. he still scoots like a worm instead of crawling normal but he is getting pretty fast. he can pull himself up onto just about anything now as long as he can grab ahold of it somehow. and yesterday he finally finally got his first tooth! just one on the bottom though, he is still working on more but at least we can see some progress being made now :) thomas has been working like crazy trying to get everything planted. thank goodness skyler and greg are here or i would never see my husband! the weather has been terribly windy so it has slowed down the planting a little bit but so far they are pretty much on schedule. we got some baby chicks a couple weeks ago. we couldn't get the power to work outside by the chicken coop so i actually had chickens living in a box in my house for a few days. well greg bought us a forever long extension cord so that we could get them out of there. we spent a little while stretching it from our house to the shed and then found a plug right next to the chicken coop that worked ha ha so we rolled up the extension cord and put it away. oh well, at least the chickens are no longer stinking up my house. my garden is about half planted now, thanks to my parents. they helped me transplant raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries. i also planted some spinach and lettuce from seed. they were doing well until this last week but the blowing sand has definately taken it's toll on things. i hope they survive. anyways here are some pictures from the last month. . .

hello from the hebdons! we are loving the spring weather! auger is almost six months old and loves to be outside. he seems to be only a week or two away from crawling but we will see. he is also eating lots of new things now. thomas has started work for the year and i have just been trying to get my spring cleaning done and the new garden spot ready.
this weekend was the jr. miss pageant and thomas and i ran the lights again. it turned out really well but with three late nights in a row and daylight savings time robbing us of an hour of sleep, we are pretty beat right now.
here are some pictures of the last month or so . . .

we took a flying trip down to utah last weekend to help kelsey and mike move into their new house in nephi. their house was awesome and auger loved everyone this time (thank goodness).

alright you finally get an update from the hebdon family. auger is almost five months now. he has not been to the doctor in awhile so who knows how much he weighs now, but he is definately still growing like a weed. he is rolling over with ease now (but only from his back to his tummy) and he scoots backwards on his tummy pretty effectively. yesterday he army crawled forward for the first time, and a few days ago he got up on his hands and knees with his tummy off the floor for about a one second. thomas and i were pretty excited and spent the next half our trying to get him to do it again. here are some shots from the last month.

this is his first bite of rice cereal. it's getting harder and harder not to feed him real food when we are eating so we decided we better at least start out with the right stuff.

jolyn introduced him to this giant rubber snake. he absolutely loved it :) i guess he takes after his mommy!

grandma and grandpa allred came for a three day visit. auger loved them this time.

currently thomas and i are not incredibly busy. we are enjoying tons of family time before the real work begins. i still play basketball with the ladies every week and have been spending a lot of time at jolyn's. thomas has played tennis a few times this week with an old high school buddy and has been working out all the kinks with this years farming ground.

thomas and i got to attend the temple last week for the first time since auger was born. we left him with grandma and grandpa all day. we had an awesome time and ran into a ton of people we know including rick and jolyn, ellen and wayne, and thomas' mom's aunt and uncle. afterward we completed our "date" with a nice expensive elegant dinner at panda express :) my favorite.

well auger is almost four months old now. he weighs in at 17 pounds and is 26 inches long. he "talks" constantly and spins in a circle when he is on the ground but still no rolling over yet.

we now have to buckle him in to the swing. as you can see here, he likes the fish picture on the back better then the big ones placed nicely in front of his face.

i been tryin to play the piano every day lately. thomas and i discovered how much auger enjoys it too :)

i got a new car too but i only have a video of it so i will have to take a picture later. it is a white diesel jetta with a sunroof and black interior. it's a stick, which i LOVE. and thomas . . i mean santa pulled it all off without me having the slightest clue. on christmas morning chase was concerned because they now have "a screamer" in the family :) i swear it was the first time, but a car is so worth it, right?

ok to be perfectly honest, i only created this blog to show everyone my baby. so here are a few of his precious moments over the last month.

last night he discovered suckers. he seemed to like them, but ill let you be the judge.

we stoppped at a hotel in boise on our way home from thanksgiving. auger got to sleep in the bath tub. he slept for nine hours!

thanksgiving was great, except for the fact that auger wouldn't go to anyone but his parents. but on the bright side he finally slept ten hours through the night and is now on a pretty solid eight hour schedule :) here are a few candids from the trip to utah.

well i loaded these pictures on in the wrong order sorry. a couple weeks ago thomas and i babysit the klefbeck family while their parents were in honduras for 8 days. molli is three, bailey is seven, and reilli is ten. they were awesome and auger loved them all to death.

this is a playdate molli and i had with some girls in the ward. there was a lot of pink going around :)

even though molli is probably only a few pounds heavier then auger, she wanted to hold him constantly ha ha. he really liked their ceiling fan too.

they warned us beforehand that the cat liked to sleep with warm bodies but i was still pretty surprised to see this when i went in to check on auger. apparently he liked the warm body to snuggle with too.

the kids helped us bathe auger every night.

auger's blessing went awesome. i cried through the whole thing but auger didn't make a sound. i guess i prayed hard enough for that one. this is the only picture i have of augers blessing day, i know that is terrible, but by the time i thought about taking pictures he was not very happy so we only had time for one.

same situation with the halloween costume lol. auger started screaming as soon as we got him into his pea pod and hardly stopped until we got him out of it. my dad said he looked like a caterpillar anyways.

oh ya and i had dreads again :) i thought halloween was a good enough excuse to have them for a few days.

so thomas has been working on our deck every spare minute he has away from work and it is finally finished (basically). we are still deciding whether or not we want to paint it. he has spent no money on it so far and it is probably my favorite deck in the whole world cuz it looks so rustic :) these pictures don't even begin to show how truly amazing it is.

alright i know it has been forever since we have posted any pics. im super sorry but sometimes life just doesn't give ya time to do what ya want to right? our not-so-little baby boy is now almost six weeks old. he is a wopping eleven pounds and who knows how tall. all i know is when he stretches out straight he fits into his nine month clothes! at church last week an elderly man asked if he was the same age as his three month old cousin sitting next to him, and she is no small baby either ha ha. needless to say, he is really working on my arm muscles, but i wont complain about buff arms :) i have quite a few pictures here but they are over a span of about three weeks. this one is just for you all to get a good look at him and how much he has changed already.
every time we go to grandma hebdon's house he sleeps on the banana chair tipped all the way back. it's the only place we have found in the family room that he will sleep forever (except for grandma's lap)

he has to be able to see things or he gets mad. his favorite thing is the lights and the ceiling fan.

before we turned the heat back on, our house was pretty cold. we had to keep auger bundled up pretty good and he would scream every time we changed his diaper lol. on the good side though, he sure slept good for those couple of days :)

he was not a fan of baths for a really long time as you can see and he would scream through most of it. if one of us was not holding his hand in the bath tub he would freak out and flex every muscle in his body so his arms and legs were sticking straight out. but lucky for us we have learned a few tricks and last night we made it through an entire bath with zero screaming :)

here he is with daddy a few days ago. he is to the age now where he wants someone to be talking to him all the time.

jolyn and i took him on his first real walk last week. it was pretty cold so she pulled out her little baby bag that she got in england and a beanie for him. we wrapped him up real good and walked for almost an hour down to the post office and back. he absolutley loved it! he was awake the whole time and never got fussy at all and then was happy for like the next three hours it was amazing :)

and finally, this is a picture from this morning. i was digging through all of thomas's baby stuff and found this little sweat suit :) now i just need a pic of thomas in it when he was a baby.

on other news, the harvesting is over. thomas and skyler worked on our deck yesterday and it is looking closer to being done. we are both teaching lessons on sunday. and next sunday is the blessing that yes you are all invited to. we will also be having dinner right after church.

I know it has been quite awhile since we have posted any news, it has been a pretty busy month for us. First off Auger is now one month and a couple days old. Sorry no pictures today but he is definitely getting bigger. We attended the farewell of one of my cousins this last weekend and many people commented how much Auger has grown. Even Uncle Darryl who had seen him just the previous Sunday. Dana and I too have commented on how much he is growing and looking older this week it was especially noticeable. Anyway. Harvest is just about over and we are looking forward to the holidays and the time we will have with our families. Oh, dont forget Auger's blessing on the first of November. You are all invited to come, church starts at 11:30.

two weeks old

well our little auger is two weeks old now. it flew by super fast but somehow it feels like we have had him with us for months now. he is a big sleeper as all new borns are and he makes all his crazy facial expressions mostly when he is asleep. these first three pictures were taken this morning. you can get a pretty good look at his giant eyes :)

he really likes to sprawl out and lay on his blanket when he is awake. however, as soon as he wants to sleep he insists on being wrapped up as tight as i can manage. i love his little tummy, its like a giant balloon that gets really hard and big after i feed him, the rest of him is still pretty skinny though.

this was his first bath two days after he got home from the hospital. as you can tell, it was a big hit :) he screamed through the whole thing but geez he sure slept good after that.

he has been sleeping almost six hours every night it has been awesome. we give him a bath every night to tire him out. his belly button is finally healed so last night thomas and i gave him his first real bath and he seemed to hate it a little less then his sponge baths.

several people have asked where we got his name, and honestly i had never heard of it either till i met thomas. auger is thomas' grandfather's middle name, which was his mother's maiden name. It is a little french and a little english. thomas introduced me to the name back when we were first married. we had talked about it being a middle name but then fell in love with it later on, and really liked the idea of naming our first son after an amazing man. his middle name, wayne, is both my dad and thomas' dad's middle names. crazy coincidence i know but it worked out well and once again we got to name him after some pretty awesome people. he has a lot to live up to now :)

as for thomas and i, we are loving being parents. he had to get up around 3 in the morning for almost all of last week and didnt get home till after dark tryin to get the harvesting done so naturally we are both pretty sleep deprived but that is what having a newborn is all about right :)
we are planning on blessing auger on november 1st. hope to see tons of you there.

hey everybody, we been taking pictures like crazy of our beautiful little boy so here are a few more for those of you who have not seen him yet. he already looks different then when we first met him. his skin is lightening up quite a bit and he seems a little more sturdy if that is possble. but holy cow he sure loves daddy. thomas can get him to calm down almost anytime and auger will stare at him forever. of course daddy loves him just as much and spends as much time cuddling with him as he can.
thomas set up something for him to look at yesterday afternoon. we think he liked it :)

i liked this pic cuz it shows how little his head is. he is so teeny even though he was a big newborn. then again, thomas has pretty big hands.

auger also like grandma allred quite a bit. she has the grandma's touch but is trying hard not to spoil him just yet. we have to get him into some good habits first lol.

thomas is cutting his beans this week, things are coming along quite nicely as far as i can tell. my mom will be here for a few more days to help me learn how to take care of my little guy. and i am doing much better then i was three days ago. i go in tomorrow to let the doctor take care of my incision, then i should be on the fast track to recovery:) more baby pics will be coming soon!

Well Hello all. I hope the majority of you who read this have all heard the news, but if not here are some pictures of the newest addition to the Hebdon Family. Dana and Auger are still in the hospital but I was given orders to come home and post some pictures for all to see. We have heard that we might be bringing our little guy home either tonight or tomorrow morning, but wont know for sure for a couple more hours probably.

well the past few weeks have been a little slow for farm work so it has been nice to get a few things worked on at the house before the baby comes. the yard doesn't look any better because i cant handle being out in the heat long enough to work on anything, but fortunately i have a husband that will do it for me :) his latest project is our front deck. Previously no one could tell which was the front door and which was the back door since our driveway is on the side of the house. So a few weeks ago thomas ripped out our sad little platform of a deck and has been working on a much bigger one made from the extra scrap wood we found in the shed out back.

the deck should be finished soon, we are just deciding what color to paint it now and then i will post pictures of the finished project :)

also thomas got me a piano! we managed to get it for free from a friend in royal. chase and anthony helped us move it into our front room since that is the only place it would fit so now i just need to re-teach myself how to play it.

baby update: nothing has changed lol. my stomach is bigger and i am more uncomfortable then i ever thought i could be but the doctor says everything is going good and we have not had any problems so im just waiting still. 3 more weeks to go! guesses on the name anyone? :) or suggestions maybe . . .

oh ya, one more tidbit of news. i was just called to be the beehive advisor in the young womens. its pretty crazy cuz i feel like i never left young womens since i have only been out about a year but im sure i will love it. my little sister ;) is in there so i am going to get to spend some awesome time with her for the next little while until she turns 14. currently thomas and i are ward missionaries and the nursery leaders as well so its going to be busy for while.

alright last but not least, the past few days we have been over in longview washington (4 hours west of royal) at the rodeback family reunion. we ate lots, visited with everybody, swam a ton, and did a few other random things. elaine taught me how to cook home made doughnuts and i helped prepare about a million of them for everyone's late night snack on friday. Someone also came up with the idea to do tye dye shirts for the family picture so we each made our own and they turned out pretty nice for our first try. We spent saturday afternoon and evening on the beach and got to take some pretty awesome family pictures there. However, my tye dye shirt makes me look absolutly massive! but for our first "family pictures" since the wedding, i wont complain :)

wow the last few weeks have been crazy. i think thomas and i will be home for awhile now finally. we were down in vegas two weeks ago for my cousin brandon's farewell. also my wonderful aunts threw me a baby shower while we were all there together. thomas and i flew down saturday night and back on monday night, it was a very fast trip and very very hot. here are a few pictures from the family get-together.

Well hello there!
Everyone i know has been begging me to start a blog. Apparently they all want to know what i am up to with my new life in Royal City Washington. Unfortunately, Thomas and I do not have the internet at our house so this will be a little bit more difficult then i would like. Lucky for you though, my lovely in-laws let us use theirs whenever we want, and they have air conditioning :) which is slightly less abundant over at the Thomas and Dana residence. So for those of you who decide to follow this blog, dont expect a daily update.
I suppose i should start with a quick background check: Thomas and i met on June 24, we were engaged on July 20 and married on November 5. We lived in the small town of Buena Vista, Virginia for about two months while i finished my first semester of college and basketball at Southern Virginia University. We returned to Washington in January of 2009 and lived with Thomas' parents, Terry and Elaine, for about a month while we fixed up a wonderful little log cabin half a mile away. Thomas is now working for his dad as a farmer and I am due in september with our first child. We cant wait to have a mini farmer following his daddy around.
